or short pants. I love latex, but find myself wearing less and less
of it these days. Off-beat, loud, patterns, bracelets, bracelets,
bracelets! And, always, my Casio calculator watch. |

those
little, brown melba toasts that come in snack mixes. yum. If tequila
is involved, tortilla chips and green salsa are required. |

Nick
Cave, Johnny Cash, or Belle and Sebastian (they are both great to
help drown your sorrows). If I've got a wine in my hand, there had
better be Edith Piaf on the stereo. |

Three
years old and my parents are having a party. Won't it be funny if
we give the baby some beer? I still remember the Coors can. Ahhh,
the good old days. |

Definitely,
and yes, yes, yes! I am a "third-wave" feminist. I am
not a victim. Men are not the enemy (unless they are Republicans,
but in that case, women are enemies, too). I am not a lesbian, but
I love them (well, not ALL of them...). I wear lipstick. Most of
the time I wear skirts, because I like the "air-flow"
and pants just don't fit me. I don't shave my legs, but I do shave
my armpits. I believe in a woman's choice, I believe there are too
many people on this earth. I do not believe in God. I believe that
we are all responsible for our own actions, so be nice, dammit.

LUPEC
means free-for-all and open forum. It means relaxing. It means enjoying
some off time with the ladies. It means freedom & tasty new
drinks. It means friendship. It means a few intelligent, classy
broads get to sit around for a few uninhibited hours and think,
say, feel, dress, act however they want without fear of being judged
for their thoughts, statements, feelings, clothing, or actions.
It means party favors! |
|
Dark,
quiet music. Emphasis on conversation. Nice beers, but not hoity
- pool tables (with enough room to play without running into anyone
or asking anyone to move), couches, pin ball machines (in another
room so the noise doesn't bother the other guests). Delicious staff.
Food served until 3 am - the type of food where lettuce doesn't
mean "iceberg." Since this is a fantasy, Nick Cave would
always be sitting at a baby grand in the back, and he takes requests!
